What drives the price of a website?
Short answer
The price depends on how many pages you need, who builds it, and whether you buy it or pay monthly. With us a website costs from 599 kr/month excl. VAT, plus a setup fee from 990 kr, or from 9 990 kr to buy outright, plus operation from 299 kr/month or running it yourself. Below is what drives the price, so you can compare quotes without surprises later.
Four things that decide the price
1. The number of pages
A one-page site with your services and a contact form is a different job from a front page with four subpages. If you offer several services that each need explaining, you need separate pages. That is also how you get found for each service, and not just for your company name.
2. Copy, photos and logo
Many offers look cheap until you discover that copy, photography and a logo are not included. Always ask what is included, and get the answer in writing.
3. The technical foundation
Hosting, HTTPS, mobile layout and basic SEO should be in place no matter what. With us all of it is included in the monthly price on both levels.
4. What happens after launch
Who pays for hosting? What does it cost to change your opening hours? Can you take the site with you if you switch provider? These are the questions that cost money over time.
What does a website cost elsewhere?
- Fixed price from an agency or freelancer: Simple template site: typically 5 000 to 15 000 kr. Three to five pages: typically 10 000 to 40 000 kr. Afterwards: typically 500 to 3 000 kr for hosting and maintenance.
- Website subscription: cheapest package: typically 500 to 1 000 kr a month, usually 0 kr up front. Ownership: rarely. Most state no ownership of the code, and several say the provider owns it.

Three ways to pay for a website

What you get with Hexis Design
Start, 599 kr/month and 990 kr setup: one complete single-page website, tailored to your trade, with a contact form, technical SEO and a mobile check.
Business, 899 kr/month and 2 990 kr setup: a front page and up to four subpages, separate pages for your main services, and a unique title and meta description for every page.
Of the monthly price, 299 kr is technical operation, and the rest counts towards the purchase price of the site. No lock-in on monthly billing. If you stop before the site is paid off, it is taken down when the period you have paid for ends. You can also buy it out at any time.
What is not included
We say it straight, so you do not have to find out later: logo, photography, online shop, booking, payment and advertising are not included at any level. Booking, payment and an online shop can be bought as add-ons, and so can for example a Google Business Profile for 2 490 kr or professional email for 1 490 kr. Logo and photography are not among the add-ons. Every add-on is listed with its price on the pricing page.
