Subscription or purchase: which pays off for your website?
Short answer
Pay monthly and the website is yours after 30 months on Start or 25 on Business. Buy outright and you own it straight away. The subscription is a repayment, not a rental. With technical operation for the same number of months, buying outright costs the same as paying monthly until the site is yours.

What you actually pay in total
On monthly billing you also pay for operation along the way: hosting, HTTPS, monitoring and technical fixes. You do not own that part; it is a service you use.

The totals are the same. Paying monthly only spreads the purchase out, it does not make it more expensive.
When does a subscription suit you best?
- You want a low cost at the start
- You want to see how the site works for your business before you put in more money
- You want to be able to stop at any time
No lock-in on monthly billing. If you stop before the site is paid off, it is taken down unless you buy it out.
When does buying outright suit you best?
- You want to own the site from day one
- You want to choose your own hosting, or run it yourself
- You have the capital and prefer a one-off cost
Can I buy the site out along the way?
Yes, at any time. You pay the purchase price minus the setup fee and minus what you have earned. If you have paid Start for twelve months, you have earned 3 600 kr on top of the 990 kr setup fee, and the remainder is 5 400 kr.
What if I stop before I own the site?
The site is taken down at the end of the paid period. You keep the domain, the content you provided and all the customer data that came in. Earned purchase credit is held for twelve months, so you can come back without starting from zero.
Price guarantee
The agreed price is locked for the first 24 months. After that the operations share may be adjusted at most once a year, with at least 60 days written notice. The fixed purchase price and your monthly ownership credit do not change.
