Before you decide
Do you actually need a website?
Plenty of businesses get by for a long time on a Facebook page alone. Here is the honest answer to when that is enough, and when it is not.
Facebook works. Let us take that first.
63 % of us use Facebook on an entirely ordinary day. The biggest group is not pensioners but people aged 25 to 34, where 79 % are on it every day. If you have a Facebook page with activity and happy customers, your problem is not that nobody sees it.
The problem is four other things, and none of them are solved by posting more often.
01
You do not own the reach
The algorithm decides who sees your post, not you. You can pay for more reach, but you can never buy your way out of someone else owning the distribution.
02
People search with intent on Google
"Plumber Drammen" is typed by someone who needs a plumber now. On Facebook you are seen by people who already follow you, when they happen to scroll past.
03
Google Business Profile wants a website
The profile that shows you in maps and local searches has its own field for a website. Leave it empty and you are missing a signal Google genuinely uses when it ranks.
04
If the page is shut down, everything is gone
No appeal, no support, no list of your customers. A website on your own domain can be moved to another provider in an afternoon.
It is not one or the other. Facebook is where people already follow you. The website is where they look for someone who does what you do. If you only need the first, you should not buy the second from us.
